blogging . . . it's not just for briton anymore

I'm not sure why I decided this was a good idea. I very loosely maintain a blog on my MySpace page (mostly it's just a place to post surveys that I'm sure all the people on my friends list don't want spamming up their bulletin boards) and sometimes it's fun just to write out the random junk that happens and funny stuff that's said (may my q.o.t.d. rest in peace) . . . I don't know. I guess I was kind of inspired by Briton and by the increasing requests I've been getting to bring back the quote of the day and so here I am. Nothing much to say just yet . . . but I'm here.

And just so that this initial entry isn't a total waste, I leave you with the obligatory list (is it obligatory to use the word "obligatory" in blogs?) - this one, cover songs that I am currently finding awesome.

  • "Time after Time" (Cyndi Lauper) - Quietdrive
  • "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (Starship) - The Starting Line
  • "Careless Whisper" (Wham!) - Ben Folds w/ Rufus Wainwright
  • "Against All Odds" (Phil Collins) - The Postal Service
  • "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" (Cyndi Lauper) - Greg Laswell
  • "Two Headed Boy Pt. 2" (Neutral Milk Hotel) - Jesse Lacey
  • "Everybody's Changing" (Keane) - Lily Allen
  • "California" (Phantom Planet) - Mates of State
Thank you Mark Wahlberg,
Kerri
